The Purpose of this course is to design a new intersection for the Liberty Street and the West Street in New York City. The following picture is how the current intersection look like.

The street along with the East-West direction is the Liberty Street and the Street with North-South direction is the West Street. The new design will solve some of the conflicts between the pedestrians and automobiles at the intesection. It will also provide spaces for biking and in-line skating as a part of 9A/Hudson River Park.
